Is there something Christmas-y or Wintery that you like to stitch each year? Like it wouldn't feel like the holidays unless you stitched a particular thing?
Some of us get silly for Santa. Crazy for candy canes. Excited for elves. Rowdy for reindeer. Apoplectic for angels. (Whoa. Sorry. That was a stretch.)
Tell me about it. Leave a comment and I'll post a recap of your responses later this week.

My favorite thing is probably Santas. Especially if they have gifts and/or reindeer. Or Santa with children on lap.
A close second...horse/sleigh scenes
I'm stitching nothing this year for Christmas or the holidays. Nothing draws my attention. I'm slowly plugging away on the Jonah project that I started a couple of weeks ago and have made very little progress on.
Not any particular theme, but I'm having a lot of fun stitching ornaments this year.
ever since I was 12, I have stitched a santa for my grandmother. when she passed away in 2005, I kept stitching them, at least once a year, for her. that's why my blog is named santa stitches.
No particular theme, but every year, I make an ornament for my parents, and now I have a niece, one for her too.
If I make ornaments for myself, I seem to like ones with words...
My dad with his white hair and beard looks like Santa, I've no real need to stitch them :o)
I love to stitch santas. I have three kids & my older daughter gets snowmen ornaments, my son gets santa ornaments, and my younger daughter gets angel ornaments. I also stitch ornaments for my nieces, a SIL, and a couple friends.
What a nice blog to pop into. I particularly like to knit tiny mittens from one of the old BHG magazines, and envelopes saying Merry Christmas and put a stitched stamp related to the recipient. Santa, birds,Snowmen, Thimbles etc.
Be always in stitches
I'm a new stitcher so this is my first holiday season stitching. I'm working on something that is not holiday themed. I have a Halloween project that should come in this week. I'm so slow I'll probably always be an off season stitcher and quilter.
I do stitch those Sandy Cozzolino santas, but not seasonally. I stitch them when I travel, or if I feel like it. I'm not a seasonal stitcher.
I'm not so much a seasonal stitcher. I stitch designs when the mood hits. As far as Christmas designs, I don' really have any one favorite. I like variety - it's the spice of life!
Cardinals! We have them here year round of course but for some reason they just scream Christmas to me.
Snowmen!! The more frosty fellows, the better! I LOVE snowmen!
Santas get my vote, Lee! But I also like some snowmen (not the cutesy ones...more the Prairie Schooler type). I like elves, too, and Christmas scenes of houses, and... Oh let's face it, I like stitching just about anything Christmas!
I'm not that organized, but this is the time of year that I like to stitch the holiday greens - pine trees, Christmas trees, wreaths, etc.
I'm not the Christmas-y type but I like to stitch Santas. I don't like the winter but I love to stitch winter-y scenes with snow covered trees and houses and the typical winter birds. Weird, isn't it? Lol.
