Sometimes…

Stitching inside isn't even an option. It's such a perfect day. Warm, with a slight breeze. The winter is just a distant memory.

Colleen is at work.  Dave’s playing golf.  I’m here alone.  And we were just invited out to dinner so now I don’t even have to worry about cooking tonight.  I’ll try not to look too happy about it.  Oh well, what the heck.  I’m ecstatic!

I hope that your weekend is going well, too!

a little rant... I have typed out a comment THREE times for this post and it won't allow me to per problems with the open id (wordpress). Bull crap! I think its that blogger doesn't want non-bloggers to comment! I bet money this comment will post without trouble if I sign into blogger. Ugh!

Sorry, had to get that off my chest. Its always a pain to post a comment. I really need to begin copying my comments before I attempt to post!

Okay, I apologize. I wish I were there stitching with you. I'm sitting here catching up on blogs and watching storm clouds move in. I may stitch this evening, I may work on sorting threads into the cabinet or I may (most likely) go to bed! I hate allergies! Hobbs is cleaning up my plate (leftover Mexicali Pie), is that bad for him?

Enjoy your dinner out. Thanks for the emails and visits to my blog.

Oh wow, I'm jealous!!! We've had just a miserable weekend here. I hope that soon I can be outside stitching, too!

I love stitching outside. The light is perfect for doing all that tricky colorwork.

I think that after seeing what a lovely stitching deck you have that your blog readers will be showing up for lunch and stitching tomorrow.

What a lovely stitching spot!

Lucky you. It is raining cats and dogs over here in Germany and this was the first of my two weeks vacation. No chance of stitching outside unless you want to wear googles and sit under a very big umbrella with only 7 degress Celsius *sigh* And today is May 31!!!!

Ah, that looks so relaxing. So much more relaxing than the grad party craziness that was our day!

Wasn't it a beautiful weekend, Lee? Even D.C. was lovely and non-humid! I think I'll do some porch stitching today--nothing better.

But, hey, if you were all alone, who took the photo???

I wish I were there with you on your porch stitching or reading. My terrace would be just as great for sitting and reading but our weather isn't just as nice as yours. It has been rainy, windy and cold for the last weeks so I can't even remember when I was sitting on my terrace the last time, sigh. That's why I would like to be where you are, lol.

I am jealous! We don't have patio furniture just yet... but I could lay out a blanket and stitch outside while the babies play. Oooh! Thanks for the idea! :)

Looks like a wonderful place to spend the day! Too hot for outdoor stitching here - sweat makes it too hard to hold on to the needle!
