Forgotten Bookmarks

Since so many of you are readers as well as stitchers, you might enjoy this blog, called Forgotten Bookmarks.  It makes me wonder about the things that I may have left in books that I've given away.   And you may remember the story about my mother-in-law and the "bookmark" she found in her book from Goodwill.

There are some interesting things in those books.  In fact, in many cases, the bookmarks are more interesting than the books!

  1. what a cool site! Did you get to the stitch and pitch on July 25th? Last night at the Blue Jays game on tv I saw a whole group of knitters.I would have to bring a simple project if I was stitching at a game. Too much going on to concentrate!

  5. I love the bookmark blog! Did you read the Quiz Kids story? This blog reminds me of a book called Found (http://www.amazon.com/Found-Tossed-Forgotten-Items-Around/dp/0743251148). Starting to read it is like starting to eat a bag of kettle korn ... no good stopping place.
