One is the loneliest number

This is the real reason that I was cleaning my office. I've been hunting high and low for the other piece of this scroll frame.  To tell the truth, I can't remember the last time I used this size rod.  And it's making me nuts.  It's as if it got up and walked away.

Come out, come out wherever you are!

  2. What a bummer! I lost one of the little tiny sticks that goes inside my scroll bars to hold the fabric. I can't even begin to imagine where it could go and why it would be separate from all the other components of the frame. Crazy.

Hope you find it soon. Pam

  3. You've cleaned the whole office and it's still missing? Have you talked to the kids? They might be holding it hostage since you showed the panties!

  4. I always worry that I have thrown things out in my zeal to tidy. I hope it turns up soon.

  5. I bet you'll find it in some random place. Check underneath the desk :P Good luck!

  8. Argh!! I feel your pain. I had a chart missing for months that turned up in the drawer I'd looked in only a thousand times. Sometimes I wonder if my family knows I am looking for something, and then hides it, and then puts it back in plain view just to mess with my head. Good luck finding it!

  10. This phenomenon happens here every day. We were missing a telephone for more than a week....long after it could have sent out it's death knell. Tore the place apart and gave up. Found it nesting among the cushions of the Big Chair in the living room. Other Day Trippers this week: new clothes for our baby boy....well, "grand" baby boy....then two pair of magnifier glasses for my stitching as well as my tiny stitching scissors.....we success the perpetrators have four furry feet and say meow...found on pair on the floor in the middle of the living room and the other under a pile of junk on the desk. Scissors? Clinging for dear life to my magic magnet.
