A heads up for you all

Picture This Plus is having their Internet Christmas in July sale today (July 25) and it will be on until 7AM Central Time tomorrow (July 26).  25% off!

These ladies dye some awesome fabrics.  I've been lucky enough to visit their shop in Abilene Kansas twice and kit up some amazing projects using their hand dyeds.  And what's even more amazing is that I've finished a few!    Like these:

PTP's Chime - I've shown you the finished stitching, but this unfinished photo shows the fabric better.

PTP's Heritage

PTP's Fog
And the newest PS designs that are stitched on black?  I'm working on one now and using PTP's Twilight and it's awesome.  Much nicer than black.  Just FYI, if you like Prairie Schoolers but aren't crazy about all that black.

  1. Nice! I love PTP fabric, but I'm trying to be good and not shop the sale. I already have some pieces of PTP tucked away and I really shouldn't be buying more. I'd love to visit their shop someday. I used to go to Abilene all the time as a kid!

  2. LOL...I was going to post a PSA about this too but you beat me to the punch. I already ordered Relic, Fathom, Heather and Ancient. Don't show me any more colors!

  3. I would like to see their colors in person too. Twilight looks blue on the website? Could you show it with flos on it? or you WIP? I do love the new Doubloon. pj

  6. Hi Lee,
I have never stitched on the PTP fabric, so I will check it out.
Your stitching is beautiful. I can't wait to see your new Pratie Schooler start.

  7. Darn - I looked at your blog too late to know about the sale. The PTP linen I worked on for Dandy Dreams was the first time I've used it, and I loved the look and feel of it; I guess I am doomed to pay full price for a new supply. Your DD looks wonderful - I see you used a lighter gray for the little whisps coming off of the dandelions - I thought about doing that and I think I like the way yours turned out better. Thanks for your comment on mine!

  8. I, too, was too late for the sale, but I think that's a good thing. Ironically, after your post the other day raving about their fabrics, I wrote to them asking for help with a fabric issue I'm having. I ordered fabric from another mfgr (who shall remain nameless, for now) based off of a sample that I received from them and the full-sized piece was terrible. The colors were extremely washed out in comparison to the sample, despite me having ordered the exact same fabric type as the sample, down to the count, to avoid just such an issue. They asked me to send the sample back so that they could try to match it to a piece of fabric in the warehouse and that was in early June. I can't get any response from them now, despite 4 or 5 emails and even a phone call I placed yesterday that has not yet been returned. I'm fed up. Hopefully, PTP will respond to my email and come to my rescue!
